— LEARN MATHEMATICAL MINDSET

Help your child, or your students, believe they can do math.

A mathematical mindset turns mistakes into learning and struggle into progress. Find the training that fits your home, your classroom, or your whole school, all in one place.

A mother helps her young daughter with a notebook while sitting together at a laptop in their bright kitchen. Their shared learning moment illustrates how parents can nurture a growth mindset in Math by making mathematical learning a positive and encouraging experience at home through the help of the Mathematical Mindset training for parents.

What is Mathematical Mindset?

A mathematical mindset is the belief that math ability is a skill every learner can develop through effort, effective strategies, the right support, and a willingness to take on challenge.

It builds on the growth mindset research of Stanford professor Dr. Carol Dweck, developed for mathematics by Dr. Jo Boaler of Stanford’s YouCubed. Learners with this mindset are more persistent and resilient, and they reach further regardless of where they start.
