MEET TEACHER MEL
Melissa Nierva is a Singapore Math specialist, author, speaker, and educational consultant with training from the Philippines, Singapore, and the United States. She holds an MA from Ateneo de Manila University, taught Singapore Math at Ateneo Grade School, and has over a decade of experience teaching mathematics from Kindergarten through Grade 10 — including students with special needs.
She is the author of Singapore Math Bar Model Method (from Beginner to Advanced Level) and serves as a Singapore Math trainer and consultant for schools and learning centers across the Philippines. Through Mindset 4 Math, she brings that depth of expertise to teachers, parents, and students who deserve nothing less than world-class math education.
