Ms. Melissa Nierva holds a BS in Psychology from the University of Santo Tomas and an MA in Basic Education Teaching from Ateneo de Manila University. She has taught Math from Kindergarten to Grade 10 and has conducted intervention classes for students with special needs.

Ms. Nierva has completed various Singapore Math training programs in the Philippines, Singapore, and the United States. Her experience includes teaching Singapore Math at Ateneo Grade School and serving as Learning Directress and Program Directress at Singapore Math enrichment centers. She is also the author of Singapore Math Bar Model Method (from Beginner to Advanced Level), a book that empowers children to solve complex word problems with confidence and ease. These roles have equipped her with the expertise to be a Singapore Math trainer and consultant for schools in the Philippines.
